- Minimum educational qualification For Both Post : 10th
- Sports Qualification : Athletics (Women), Archery (Women), Basketball Boxing, Diving, Football, Fencing, Gymnastics, Hockey, Handball, Kabaddi ,Kayaking &Canoeing (Men), Swimming, Sailing (M-Men & W-Women) Shooting (M&W), Triathlon (Men), Volleyball (Men), Weight Lifting (Men), Wrestling(M &W)
- Sports Achievements For Direct Entry Havildar
(a) Individual should be a Medalist at Junior/ Senior level by representing State in National competitions or have represented Country at International level (Indl event).
(b) Individual should have represented a State or Country in National or International competitions at Junior/ Senior level (Team event).
(c) Individual should be a Medalist in Khelo India Games & Youth Games or Above.
- Sports Achievements For Naib Subedar
(a) Individual should be winner of any medal in World Championship/ Asian Championships
(b) Individual should be winner of any medal in Asian Games.
(c) Individual should be winner of any medal in CWG/World Cup.
(d) Represented India twice in Asian Games/ Commonwealth Games/World Cup.
(e) Represented India in Olympics.
- Women Direct Entry Havildar/Naib Subedar : Women who meet the above mentioned QR similar to male candidate may apply.
- Marital Status : Only unmarried male and female candidates will be eligible
